How is Semaglutide used?
Unlike many medications on the market, Semaglutide is best tolerated by slowly ramping up the dose over the course of a few months to minimize potential side effects. The weekly Dose will be increased every 2-4 weeks as tolerated until your ideal dose is reached. The ramp up process allows you to not only medically target your weight loss but to learn the behavioral modification techniques with our clinical team to sustain your weight loss journey. We offer weekly check ins and encourage them while beginning the medication, this will allow for customization of the medication based on your weight loss and goals.
Administering Semaglutide
Our weight loss clients are welcome to come into the clinic each week for their injections or we can teach our clients how to self-administer in the comfort of their own home! From start to finish, the weekly injections only take a few minutes to complete. Remember, all supplies and medications are included in our monthly rates!
What is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). The medication mimics the bodies similar peptide to increase the amount of insulin and reduce the amount of glucagon that is being produced by the body. This enhanced process increases your ability to metabolize sugar, delays gastric emptying to control appetite, and leads to smaller portion sizes with less cravings!
